These Primary Partner Cards are such a fun and engaging way to put your students into partnerships or form groups!
How Do The Partner Generators Work?
Once you print your primary partner cards, you will want to pull out any extra cards depending on your class size. Each set comes with 20 partnerships which can be used for class sizes up to 40. If you only have 20 students, you only need 10 partnerships. Some sets can make groups up to 4, again you would want to pull out any extras.
When you are ready to use, you simply pass out one card to each student and explain how they find their partner. For example, one set included is a color match. If Student A has a red apple, they need to find another person with a red card. Like Student B with the red crab. That is their partner for that activity.
Once students settle in with their partner, I advise collecting all of the cards so you don’t lose a pairing.
That’s it, it’s that simple!
What’s Included in the Partner Generators for Teachers?
Included in this pack is 5 different sets of partnering cards. Each set can make 20 partners and 2 of the 5 sets can be used to make groups of 3 or 4. The pack comes with color and black and white print options. Each pack varies in difficulty allowing you to switch it up all year long!
